Dr. James is a member of the Black Excellence Employee Resource Group initiative called "Books in Their Hands". As part of this initiative, employees are encouraged to read to children in their communities during Black History Month.
The book Professor James will be reading is "Magic Within" by Keairra Chaney, a wonderful story that aligns with our goal of uplifting Black literature and illustration.
There are 24 spots available for this activity.
Hear a story, do a discussion about the book and participate in an activity, enjoy a snack at the very end.
