Ages- 1-11 and families

Come meet the author Kristopher Wilson on November 7 at 11 am. He will be reading his book, doing an activity and a snack will be provided. He then will have a table set up of all the books he has wrote. Please join him on this day in the kid's area of the library.

A little information about Kristopher Wilson:

Kristopher Wilson was born in Fairmont, WV, and grew up in Clarksburg, where his love of art, writing and storytelling began at a young child. He has always been drawn to creating imaginative worlds, especially ones filled with a little magic, a little mystery and just enough spookiness to make them unforgettable. 

His journey into children's books began when he learned he was going to become a father. Inspired by his daughter, Ellie, Kristopher wanted to create stories that could help children understand and work through the challenges they face as they grow. His stories often blend magical adventures with meaningful lessons about courage, kindness, emotions and believing in yourself. Ellie continues to be the heart behind many of his stories, inspiring characters who are curious, kind and always willing to help. Kristopher also credits his wife, Emily, whose constant encouragement has helped him continue chasing his dream of creating worlds that families can enjoy together. 

When he isn't writing, Kristopher enjoys spending time with his family, creating new stories and worlds and playing D&D. Above all, he hopes that every child or parent who picks up one of his books finds something within its pages that makes whatever challenge they are facing feel just a little bit easier.
