Art With Emily: Bob Ross Day

Bob Ross was a national treasure who helped give beginner artists all over the world the confidence they needed to start painting, so let's celebrate the Joy of Painting by joining Emily in her attempt to follow along with one of Bob Ross's iconic painting tutorials. Bob Ross is notorious for painting very quickly so Emily will pause the video frequently in order to explain what he is doing and how to translate his oil painting techniques into acrylic painting techniques. All skill levels welcome and art supplies are provided. This year Emily will be attempting to paint along to Bob Ross's Season 30 Episode 7 painting tutorial titled "Through the Window" if you would like to preview what we'll be painting. All Bob Ross episodes are public domain and free to view. You can find his entire catalog of Joy of Painting series across multiple streaming platforms like YouTube, TubiTV, PlutoTV, and even on the Hoopla app using your library card!
