Art With Emily- Plein Air Art

Join Emily as she shows you how to create artwork outdoors using the traditional practice of plein air art, a French term meaning “open air.” Held on the historic Waldomore Library lawn, participants will observe and draw inspiration directly from the surrounding landscape, architecture, and natural scenery. Learn basic techniques for sketching and painting from life while exploring light, color, and composition in a relaxed outdoor setting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this program offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, observe the world around you, and capture it through art.
